I have broken this up into categories including home, lounge, shoes, beauty, outerwear and clothing! I have chosen my top picks, again nothing in this sale is a NEED they are wants and when we deem it appropriate it is okay to indulge, with that, enjoy!
Loungewear is at the top of the list for everyone recently because of our current circumstance and the wide range of WFH options we have. To go to the extreme comfort there are plenty of pajama sets, each coming in plus sizing as well which is perfect for me and my sis to match in! Some of my favorites were Moonlight Dream in Short (and Plus Size), Moonlight Dream in Longsleeve (and Plus Size), and a Moonlight Sleep Shirt (and Plus Size)! Honeydew also has a perfect cozy set and all pieces will pair perfectly with some UGG Slippers! For a more lounge vibe, Free People has some perfect tops (here and here) to pair with this cardigan from Barefoot Dreams. I also love a look with joggers and a crop sweatshirt for staying home.
Outerwear is huge for me. I have too many jackets and coats however living in New England is there really such a thing? It’s best if I just list off my top items in this section. Puffer coats: Patagonia and The North Face are both brands I trust for the winter season and to have at these prices is just glorious. Leather Jackets are forever especially this Levi’s option, BLANKNYC (vegan suede) and Chelsea28 (might be my top choice however it is the priciest, my moto jacket has matte black accents and I’m obsessed). On the lighter side: a Patagonia Better Sweater Full Zip and 1/4 Zip I have both and they are fall essentials, as well as this beautiful Barbour Rain Jacket. A faux fur coat is something for every girl and this beautiful Navy option is a dream. Now my personal favorite, a slew of midi length primarily wool coats. Bernardo has a grey that will pair beautifully with any Fall attire, they also carry a Faux Fur Teddy option. Sadly I believe every woman needs a black wool jacket for special occasions and funeral services, it’s timeless and appropriate. These options from Sam Edelman and Kenneth Cole are perfect for all occasions. Halogen’s Double Face Wool Coat is a fan favorite, lasting a lifetime. Finally, a fun fall option (I have this coat in green and ADORE it) is a Sam Edelman Faux Fur Teddy Coat, to spice things up a little.
So for clothing in the sale I’m going to again categorize to make it easy! Dresses, I can see each of these choices with leather jackets and booties through this season, perfect for work as well. Julia Jordan Long-Sleeve Chiffon Midi, VINCE tie-waist cotton dress, Sam Edelman Tiered Midi, and a BP leopard print mini (we know I can’t avoid the leopard print)! Denim: Levi’s are some of my favorite jeans, Madewell denim is never on sale and these are a fantastic pair – I find them easy to dress up for work! Free People has fun ripped denim in a black and blue wash for under $50! SPANX never goes on sale and these faux leather leggings pair with everything including this beautiful Cashmere sweater. They are so easy to dress up or down. Skirts: This cream and black dot tiered skirt or suede mini will be perfectly paired with a leather moto jacket. This cardigan is colored to pair with anything you own already however I also want to wear it alongside these camo utility pants (and the entire look is under $100)!
Activewear, we all use it, whether for actual workouts or errands. Grabbing it on sale always helps. My top brands are Zella: Cozy Wrap Jacket, Hooded Jacket, Performance Jacket, black joggers ( under $40 here and under $50 here), and a longline bra under $25! ALO: Half-Zip Faux Fur Hoodie, Moto Leggings, and sports bra. Any outdoor activity here in New England requires some layers and Patagonia and Bernardo are going to be part of that.
These are some perfect basics for every home, but better because they’re on sale: towel set , coasters & Corkcicle (both under $20!). There are prints that are bright, fun and classic all under $30. This comforter set is both beautiful and a great deal and this Barefoot Dreams throw we’ll all just want to be wrapped up in until this quarantine is over! Every hostess needs a platter to serve on (during socially distant small gatherings), so there are three beautiful options that are practical, lavish (lazy susan style) and a more standard option!
One great part of the NSale is that there are some amazing sets that are put on sale! Always a win. A personal favorite of mine is Living Proof and there is both a full size or jumbo size option available! Some other amazing brand sets available through the sale are Tula, Laura Mercier, Dolce & Gabbana (*my FAVORITE scent), Charlotte Tilbury, and Kiehl’s. All of these products are amazing on an individual basis and created by trusted brands and the Kiehl’s duo has a Midnight Recovery Concentrate also available in Jumbo as part of the sale! I found two beautiful lip duo’s from Bobbi Brown under $30! One being a lipstick/lip gloss duo the other lip tint! The T3 Single Pass Curl 1.25″ Ceramic Curling Iron is part of the sale, marked down almost 33%! My final beauty choice is a silk eye-mask with a cooling effect. I sleep with a silk eye-mask nightly and find it to be a requirement in my routine to support my sleep!
Boots are a HUGE part of the NSale, I historically grab boots and booties for the fall season during this time because there are amazing deals on classic styles. There are black pointed-toe styles from Steve Madden and Marc Fisher both at great price-points. Asimilar style also made by Steve Madden has flattering ankle cut-outs. These Marc Fisher booties also come in a classic nude suede and Vince Camuto has a open-toe snakeskin bootie to bring a little fun to our fall wardrobe! I have two tall boot styles chosen; one a Charles black leather OTK for under $100 and a nude knee-high heeled style by Vince Camuto! Finally, a classic chelsea boot style by Lucky Brand which will last for years to come. Mules in both a classic style from Treasure & Bond and a fun style from Steve Madden, both under $50! These UGG sneakers will go with any fall outfit and these Converse are an all-time classic look with a platform (perfect for me and my short stature). Finally, my favorite brand Superga with a nice twist to add a little POP to any outfit.
There are a number of bags to snag during the sale which will be perfect for both the Fall and the seasons to come. I have selected two (nearly identical) totes I love for work one by Marc Jacobs and the other Tory Burch. Crossbody bags are essential in every closet, there are snakeskinpatterned, a Croc Embossed in the most beautiful green, the favorite leopard spotted, and more classic styles including black and brown leather. While these bags still have heavier price-tags they are on significant markdown from original pricing which is definitely worthwhile for quality items.
A miscellaneous find of accessories and additions. A Hydroflask for under $40, Power Stone stretch bracelets for under $30 each! I do love wool hats, a classic black style or Panama style with snakeskin band. A bit pricier would be a Halogen Cashmere scarf to suit any occasion.
